Amaal
Wake all night and
worship that is equivalent to the worship of all angels. Also narrated
that the worship in this night is equivalent to 70 years worship.
Prefer to stay in Kerbala, Iraq. Try to be as close as possible to the
Roza of Imam Hussain a.s. when waking in this night, so that you may be
counted among the companions of Imam Hussain a.s.
- It is called Shab-e-Ashoor.
- Offer 2 rakaat
pray where in each rakat recite Sura Fateha (1 time) and Sura Ikhlaas
(3 times).
- After finishing
pray, recite this DUA 70
times.
- Offer 4 rakaat
pray where in each rakat recite Sura Fateha (1 time) and Sura Ikhlaas
(50 times).
- At the last part
of night, offer 4 rakaat pray where in each rakat recite Sura Fateha
(1 time), Ayat-ul-Kursi (10 times), Sura Touheed (10 times), Sura Falaq
(10 times) and Sura Naas (10 times).
- After finshing
pray, recite Sura Ikhlaas 100 times.

Amaal
This is called Youm-e-Ashoor,
the martyrdom day of Imam Hussain a.s. and his companions. It is better
to mourn as much as possible. Don't do any other job, even don't go to
your office/business. Organize Majalis and Matam, same as you do when
your closest relative dies.
When Prophet Moosa a.s. was directed to meet with Prohpet (probably) Khizer
a.s. by Allah j.j, then the first thing discussed between them was the
details of event of Kerbala and both of them mourn a lot on it.
Narrated from Ibn-e-Abbas r.a. that Imam Ali a.s. showed him a written
document (which was dictated by Prophet Muhammad pbuh and written by Imam
Ali a.s.) when he was at place ZeeQaar with Imam Ali a.s. This document
contains all details of the event of kerbala including the names of martyrs
and enemies. Imam Ali a.s. and he mourned a lot when Imam read some parts
from this document.
It is better to be as close as possible to the Roza of Imam Hussain a.s.
and offer water to drink. It is equivalent to if you offered water to
Imam Hussain a.s. and his companions.
Allama Majlisi r.a. narrated not to observe fast on 9th and 10th Muharram.
Since Bani Umaya and their followers always insist to be fasted on these
days and they have also produced some fake Hadees from Prophet Muhammad
pbuh for it, however, all Ahlay Bait a.s. had prohibited fast on 9th and
specially 10th day.
Bani Umaya also produced many fake information just to show that 10th
Muhrram is a very good day, such as, Prophet Adam a.s. was forgived, Prophet
Younus a.s. came out from the stomach of fish, Namrood's fire was cold,
boat of Prophet Nooh a.s. was stopped on joodi, Prophet Eisa a.s. escapped
from Jews, Firon and his companions were died on this day, etc. All of
it is fake, there is no proof for these sort of information. These are
produced just to prove that this day is a very good day for many prophets.
They have also produced some fake DUAs to recite, be sure that the reciting
of those DUAs is almost Haram (totally prohibited). One example of these

Must not be fasted on 10th Muharram, but don't drink and eat anything
uptill Asr pray time. Its called Faqa. Don't collect/store food items
for the year as Bani Umaya were used to do, don't smile, don't play, don't
talk a lot, don't involve in any business activity, but mourn and disgrace
the enemies of Imam Hussain a.s.
Behave just as someone very close to you has died.
- Recite this Ziarat-e-Ashoora
of Imam Hussain a.s.
- Now recite THIS.
- Recite Sura Ikhlaas
1000 times.
- Recite Dua-e-Ushraat.
- Disgrace the enemies
of Imam Hussain a.s. by reciting THIS.
- Near the end of
the day, condolence to Ahlay Bait a.s. and recite this Ziarat.
